Hello and welcome to y = f(x) — a space where we break down the world of Artificial Intelligence into something clear, curious, and deeply human.

If you’ve ever stared at a math formula like y = f(x) and thought, “That’s just math…”—well, surprise: that formula is also the foundation of AI.

At its heart, AI is just a giant function. We feed it inputs (x), it processes them through layers of logic and learning (f), and out comes something useful, surprising, or even beautiful (y).
